Montana State University will host Orientation June 9–11. There will be over 800 incoming students and parents on campus. At Orientation, students learn about MSU policies and procedures, meet with advisors, take necessary placement exams, plan a class schedule and register for classes. Parents will have a series of informational sessions as well.
Orientation is your introduction to academic and non-academic life at Montana State University in Bozeman. All new students are required to attend an Orientation session. Orientation is designed to inform you about all the elements important to your success as a college student and includes academic advising, placement testing and class registration. Montana State University believes the Orientation process assists all new students in their transition to MSU and increases their chances for academic success.
Orientation dates for Fall 2014:
*Students attending these sessions are REQUIRED to stay on campus for the duration of Orientation.
